Fraternity and Sorority Life at Austin Peay State University campus is an important part of our tradition. Greeks at APSU are involved in every aspect of campus life from Homecoming to intramural competition. The Greek community at Austin Peay State University is comprised of 15 recognized chapters, which are all nationally affiliated and in good standing with the office of Student Life and Leadership and the University. With approximately 400 recognized members, our social fraternities and sororities account for 5% of the total campus population. Fraternity and Sorority Life also provides individuals with opportunities for philanthropy, leadership, diversity and social activities. In addition to fostering a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood, chapter members are encouraged to become active and assume leadership roles in other campus activities and organizations. Our chapters provide a variety of services to the Austin Peay community as well as the Middle Tennessee region including raising money for local and national charities and completing many hours of service to the campus and surrounding communities. |
